This global spirit brand are seeking an individual with a great attitude to take on responsibility for managing key accounts across Regional Wholesale, Cash & Carry and Multiple Retail Groups covering Scotland.

Your responsibility is to increase rate of sale of your products in your accounts. To do this successfully, you will essentially be a product specialist to your accounts, educating them on how to maximise sales for your products in their outlet whilst supporting them in this with commercial incentives and branded displays, installations (and more) to improve visibility of the brand.

You will be doing both account management and people management, coaching and managing the performance/development of teams members within your region.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing and growing the key accounts across Regional Wholesale, Cash & Carry and Multiple Retail Group
  • Managing, coaching and leading a team of direct reports (day-to-day management)
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities in a changing market place
  • Implement customers plans to achieve objectives and contributing to wider team success and achievement of company-wide targets & KPI's
  • Ensure team's performance is tracked via CRM reporting systems
  • Assume responsibility for ensuring a fully recruited team through agencies & direct recruitment
Must have:

- Sales/Account management experience in the drinks industry - Must have alcohol background (spirits, wine, beer)
  • A strong network across major accounts
  • Preferably exposure to both on and off trade channels
  • P&L management exposure
  • Proven sales track record
  • People management experience
  • Good knowledge of the Scottish market
  • Great organization, self-motivation and commercial skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
