The Role:

Alcohol and Beverage Sales Specialist

• The role is to raise awareness of the wines, beers, spirits category.
• You will be working alongside the current sales team to train and develop their knowledge of this category to upsell to existing customers.
• You will also be selling directly to these existing customers yourself.
• You will have access to all customer accounts within the business which are currently just buying from the food categories to extend their orders to wines, beers and spirits also.
• These customers include education sector (schools, colleges and academy), Health Care (NHS, Care Homes), local authorities, HORECA and pubs.
• 80% new business, 20% existing business split. The new business is generated from established accounts.
• Covering the Nottingham territory- Coventry up to Doncaster- including Leicester, Nottingham, Peterborough, Lincolnshire & Chesterfield.
• All sales go towards the depots targets but personal KPI are £25k a year on wine, beers and spirits from open trading accounts.
• You will be expected to make 4 calls a day of prospect business.

The Ideal Person:

• Must have WSET Level 1&2
• You will have specific experience in the wines, beers and spirits industry.

Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK.
