Role
Langham Wine Estate are producers of world-class English Sparkling Wine. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Manager to join our small team based close to Dorchester, Dorset. The chosen candidate will be responsible for a range of sales and marketing tasks, working closely with the owner to ensure continued growth of the business.
Responsibilities
· Increase sales across all channels, with particular responsibility for trade and online
· Manage Tasting Room Manager and promote direct sales
· Organise and attend events both on and off the Estate
· Organise and conduct tours
· Despatch orders as required
· Work closely with our café operators to develop events and offer
· Manage existing trade accounts and develop new
· Develop national distribution and export opportunities
· Manage website and liaise with web developers
· Respond to customer enquiries
· General administration and office support, to include show and competition entries
· Manage social media accounts
· Build relationships with wine critics and journalists to ensure good media coverage
· Work with photographers and designers to develop branded collateral
· Create content for newsletters, social and website
Personal attributes
· An enthusiastic and outgoing individual who is self-driven, has the ability to use their own initiative and works well with a team
· Organised and efficient with attention to detail
· Willingness to attend external events and work flexible hours (including some evenings and weekends) to meet the demands of the job
· Able to act as a brand ambassador and communicate our passion for English wines and Dorset produce
Required skills/experience
· Sales/account management and customer service experience (ideally within the wine industry) essential
· Marketing experience, confidence with social media platforms
· Experience of working with ecommerce platforms
· A people person who can build strong relationships within the industry
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Computer literate with good Microsoft office skills
· Full, clean UK driving license essential
· Experience of working in the wine trade and/or wine-related qualifications would be beneficial but not essential
This is a permanent, full-time position beginning with a 6 month probationary period
