Artelium Wine Estate is recruiting an Office Manager 

Artelium Wine Estate is a new and contemporary boutique wine estate, producing exceptional English wine vineyards in East and West Sussex. Our first release sparkling wines are already award winning and building up a loyal following.  We are looking for a full time or part time office manager to join our small, friendly but fast-growing team.  The role will focus on managing the office operations to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Responsibilities 

The responsibilities of the role are varied and fall into a number of areas:

Customer focused

• Deal with customers and process customer orders
• Customer reception duties, including answering incoming calls and scheduling appointments
• Answer general emails and other correspondence with customers and suppliers

 

Operations

• Managing operational controls
• Managing record keeping and organise the company's systems, databases, and procedures including compliance as necessary
• Manage office and wine packaging supplies and suppliers
• Process expenses and invoices
• Provide admin support for the directors as needed including preparing weekly and monthly reports.

 

The ideal person will

• have exceptional organization skills and an eye for detail
• be experienced and proficient in Microsoft Office
• have experience in managing operational controls within a similar role
• have good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional telephone manner
• have excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritize effectively
• have a positive outlook, be reliable and dependable
• have basic budgetary/finance experience
