Production Lead Hand & Forklift Operator is a supervised role who will work within the winemaking team and the production team.
The key requirements of this role are to be the lead-hand in labelling and disgorging, operating forklifts and in-machine maintenance, following instructions from supervisors as required. This role will involve contribution to all stages of the winemaking process from grape reception through to labelling and dispatch.
Essential Job Functions
* Forklift operation
* Maintenance of all equipment (when trained)
* Cleaning and maintenance of winery equipment
* Cleaning production areas
* Manage riddling crate loading and preparation
* Supervised order preparation and local deliveries
* Assisting with goods in and stock rotation duties
* Compliance with SALSA requirements
* Compliance with Health & Safety requirements
* Any other tasks as required
Other Job Functions
* Assisting in the vineyard under direction of the Vineyard Manager
* Assisting in estate maintenance as and when required.
Requirements
* Full, clean driving licence
* Forklift licence
* IT skills including Microsoft Office
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.
