Danbury Ridge Wine Estate is a new winery located between the Crouch and Blackwater estuaries in Essex. We aspire to produce world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, in both still and sparkling styles. 

There is a huge emphasis on the quality of fruit to allow a ‘hands-off’ winemaking approach. This means the role will focus primarily on sanitation and barrel work. However, we are a small team and require harvest workers to perform a wide range of jobs. We seek two individuals who are passionate about premium winemaking and will perform operations meticulously. 

 Responsibilities and Duties:

• Vineyard sampling and associated laboratory work
• Take part in all aspects of winery sanitation to a high standard including: tank sanitation, bin washing, barrel washing, drain cleaning and general winery cleanliness
• Cellar work including triage, racking, barrelling down, topping and punch downs  
• Assist in bottling and labelling operations
• Have the ability to regularly lift up to 25kg and manage manual punch downs
• Adhere to winery safety protocols

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

£10.50 per hour. Accommodation provided.
