This is an outstanding opportunity to work with the award-winning St JOHN Group at St JOHN Wines / HG Wines.

We are looking for an experienced Trade Sales Account Manager who has a genuine passion, thorough knowledge and enjoyment of French wines, and who demonstrates an empathy with the culture of St JOHN.

As Trade Sales Account Manager you will build on our existing portfolio of client accounts, and drive and deliver new business to meet our exciting growth plans.  You are someone who is exceptionally commercial, who has a depth of experience within the Wine Industry and who is challenged by working within a targeted environment.

Ideally, you are already managing up to 80-100 client accounts and have proven multi-channel sales experience with particular emphasis in on-trade and independent wine merchants within a prestige environment.

To be successful in the role you will:

·       Currently be in a similar role and have a large contact base, who is meeting and exceeding their sales targets.

·       WSET Level 3 qualified is essential, Level 4 is preferred.

·       Experience in working with both prestige accounts and quality gastro pubs.

·       Demonstrable experience and success in building long term, enduring and profitable business relationships.

·       Proven experience in successfully growing a customer base across territories.

·       Has a pro-active and positive attitude with unrivalled engagement skills.

·       High levels of self-motivation and a strong work ethic.

·       Demonstrates strong organisational and presentation skills allowing clients and customers to share our vision and passion for our wine.

·       Has energy, dedication and focus who enjoys not only working alone, but as part of a small team.

·       The ability to be flexible over working hours, for example early starts and late finishes may be required at times for this role.

·       Working knowledge of Vintner and /or similar system.

·       The ability to work in a hands-on physical role.  Some lifting and carrying will be required to undertake the role and successful candidates will need to travel in and around London (on foot and public transport) and travel around the country (by car and public transport) to manage key accounts successfully.
