Anthony Byrne Fine Wines Ltd sources quality wines directly from the growers; which are, and continue to be, appreciated by our customers for nearly 50 years.
We are looking for candidates to expand our existing dynamic sales team covering the East of England.
Operating from our own bonded-warehouse in Cambridgeshire and using our own fleet of vans to distribute to our customers, we pride ourselves on the high level of personal customer service we provide.
Main Duties
Wine Sales Managers at ABFW are responsible for the development of the existing customer base allocated to them while seeking new opportunities across their area. As the local ambassadors for Anthony Byrne Fine Wines, it is crucial that they have a positive attitude to on-trade wine sales and marry commerciality with excellent wine knowledge. Whilst primarily a field-based role, Wine Sales Managers will visit the office in Cambridgeshire regularly. Working hours are generally 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with some requirement to work outside of regular business hours to support customers, for training, wine dinners, etc.
Knowledge and Experience
- Commercial experience in selling wine (on-trade preferred)
- A good track record in sales and meeting growth targets
- Knowledge of the wine trade and trends
- WSET Level 2 preferred
