Fine Wine Import Manager
Turville Valley Wines is a leading supplier of the world’s finest and rarest wines. Originally set up over 40 years ago to supply private customers and the UK Trade, the company is now international and supplies customers all over the world.
We are looking to expand our Logistics department based in Buckinghamshire with a dedicated Fine Wine Import manager to oversee all imports of fine wine and spirits.
The Role
· Managing incoming shipments from across the EU and the USA.
· Ensuring accurate, efficient and speedy shipments into the London warehouse using a variety of specialist wine shippers (both air freight and sea freight).
· Consolidating orders prior to shipping
· Keeping records of shipment dates and planned arrival dates of all stock
· Liaising with the Company’s warehouse (London City Bond) to book in deliveries.
· Handling stock queries
· Communication with suppliers and their warehouse providers to ensure timely stock release
· Ensuring all necessary paperwork is complete prior to instructing shipment
· Assisting with the checking and verification of rare wines (training provided)
· Frequent communication with the Fine Wine Export Manager and the wider company to provide a seamless and efficient import, export and UK delivery service to our customers.
Experience
· Experience of importing goods from Europe, Switzerland & USA
· Understanding and/or experience of exporting goods worldwide would be an asset.
· Understanding of customs processes and paperwork for UK imports

Full Time/Permanent role
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
Competitive salary commensurate with experience
