As the UK’s largest Independent retailer of champagne, we are currently looking for a creative and passionate individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Assistant Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic marketeer who has an adaptable and positive approach to new challenges.
You will need to have a keen eye for detail and a true passion for getting creative on a daily basis.
The role will involve assisting the Marketing Director with marketing via a market leading ecommerce platform and email marketing platform, Adobe Photoshop and social media channels.
Other digital tools and software programmes will be introduced and used for marketing, updating products, content and marketing imagery and content on the websites.
Essential Skills:
• Experienced with Adobe Photoshop.
• An excellent level of written and spoken English.
• Previous experience in a Marketing/Digital Marketing role.
• Strong MS Office knowledge - MS Outlook, Excel, Word etc
• Experience in creating and using direct email marketing
• Comfortable with ecommerce website administration
• Experience in creating innovative social media posts and running multiple social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) using brand guidelines.
Desired skills:
• Experience and knowledge of Wine/Spirits - WSET Level 2 preferred
• Blog & content writing experience.
• Video clip filming and editing
Top Accountabilities:
• Support and work closely with the Marketing & Ecommerce Director on new and existing projects.
• Maintain and regularly update a clear marketing schedule calendar.
• Create and schedule social media posts.
• Regularly update the website with new imagery and written content.
• Design, schedule and send regular email marketing campaigns.
• Product management - work with team updating stock, content, imagery and pricing as well as managing uploading of new products using ecommerce website admin.
• Liaising with the team in other departments ie. Warehouse, Trade and Customer Services.
• Support the business in other departments when needed during busy periods (ie. Christmas) – this may involve assisting Customer Services.

Own transport is essential and the successful candidate should live within a reasonable distance of the HQ; some remote working is possible after a minimum service period.
