The Champagne Company is a Champagne retailer supplying online customers who buy premium champagnes, wines and spirits online and customers within the on trade (wholesale - bars and restaurants). The Champagne Company are the leading Independent retailer of several large Champagne brands as well as the only Krug Ambassade Online retailer in the world.
This position will be based at our offices in Birmingham. Within this role you will assist in the management of stock and orders. You will work closely with On Trade and Online Managers to assist with stock / management for trade or corporate orders processing, goods in and out and invoicing.
We are looking for career applicants with ability and intent to progress to management levels of responsibility.
• Excellent level of customer service. Clear and well spoken telephone manner.
• Experienced with customer CRM tools, Stock management systems SAGELINE 50 essential
• Previous experience /knowledge in a wine & drinks environment essential, WSET qualifications preferred.
• Excellent time management and reporting Skills. Consistent and ability to work accurately and effectively under time pressure.
• Responsible. Supportive - a team player demonstrating loyalty and commitment to colleagues.
• Able to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve, and follow up to implementation.
• Flexible – to work hours required for the successful completion of tasks i.e. at peak periods such as pre-Christmas.
10 minute walk from Birmingham Snow Hill or New Street Station and bus stops and parking on site.
Salary: Dependent on Experience and right person.
