Biddenden Vineyards is a family owned and run business in the Garden of England, established in 1969, we are Kent’s original vineyard, working at the heart of the county.
The Role is full time from September to December and includes but may not be limited to: Fruit reception, press loading, emptying, racking and wine transfers, ferment inoculations and chaptalisation, tank and equipment cleaning and general cellar work.
Previous harvest experience with confidence and ability to undertake tasks required, and a reasonable level of fitness.
* Assisting in the management of production operations
* Preparation of machines for production for pressing, bottling and labelling for our wines, ciders and juices
* Quality control
* Forklift license or experience is desirable and winemaking qualifications are welcomed.
All of the above comes with training, we would like the successful applicant to be enthusiastic, practical, hardworking, be able to work independently under instruction and as a part of our small team and above all have a willingness to learn new skills and be happy to work within all areas of our family run business. We are more than just a vineyard!
This is an exciting and varied opportunity within our ever growing industry.
Applicants must be over 18, with a clean driving license. Salary applicable to experience.
