Drinks Inc is our dynamic drinks distribution brand, serving hospitality and wholesale customers across the island of Ireland. Drinks Inc has a portfolio of over 1,000 products covering the spirits, wines, beer and soft drinks. The brand is also the exclusive agent for premium brands and wineries including BrewDog, Hinch Distillery and the UK’s number one wine brand Isla Negra.

The Role

Are you a results driven sales professional with industry experience in the alcohol and beverage sector? We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a SALES REP to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Drinks Inc business within Northern Ireland through effective sales, margin control and relationship management.

  • To develop the Drinks Inc business through effective sales growth, relationship management in both the on and off trades
  • Responsibility for achieving quarterly sales and margin targets in line with the objectives of the Drinks Inc business overall
  • To grow the Key account business in the area by developing existing relationships
  • To win and develop profitable new business and work with the broader Drinks Inc team on opportunities.
  • To develop on and off trade Wine sales in Drinks Inc by growing our market share
  • Specifically, to secure new on trade wine lists
  • Implement the company marketing plans driving promotions and NPD
  • Full compliance with the company credit control policy
  • To work with all support functions including logistics, trading, marketing and telesales to drive customer service
  • Build upon and enhance the cross functional relationships across the wider Musgrave group


  • Strong sales experience within a proactive field-based sales role
  • A  min. of 3 + years’ experience within the licenced trade in particular
  • Proven experience of growing sales and achieving targets within the Drinks industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer focus
  • Ability to make decisions, meet targets and work under pressure
  • Excellent planning, and organisational skills
  • People person with the ability to network and build strong working relationships
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Competent in MS Office to include excel and word


  • Good understanding of the Drinks industry model
  • A strong interest / knowledge of the wine industry
