Due to the growth of the business, a new role as Regional Account Manager (London Restaurants) has arisen in our on-trade division.

Lanson International UK Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lanson BCC Group, handling the distribution of the group’s Champagnes across the UK and Ireland.
Job Brief:
The on-going management of existing customers with a focus on restaurants in London.
Generation and management of a new business pipeline in areas identified, leading to increased volume and distribution for Lanson UK brands.
Negotiation of new business agreements and delivery of sales and value growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement sales plans with account base in line with the business strategy.
- Manage financial budgets with account base
- Establish and develop positive relationships with key stakeholders within the account base to help achieve sales plans and volume targets
- Identify new accounts and areas of opportunity to achieve sales growth and manage these opportunities through your prospect pipeline
- Liaise internally as required to achieve plans across your account base including Marketing, Finance, Events, Credit Control and Logistics
- Deliver staff training and brand education
- Host events and activations within your customer base and act as ambassador for Champagne Lanson
- Formulate and submit reports and proposals, planning documents and customer records in a professional and timely manner
Requirements:
Essential:
- Minimum Account Manager experience of 4 years in an FMCG business with demonstrable success of growing accounts
- Strong knowledge of UK alcoholic drinks market, an understanding of the on-trade and preferably a good network of restaurant contacts
- Evidence of strong negotiation, commercial and planning skills
- Strong team player but also able to work using their own initiative
Desirable:
- Educated to Degree Level
- Experience in restaurant and hotel sales
- WSET Certified (Preferable)
