Working with the Headof Events to manage events at the Club and on occasion bookings in teh St James's room. Ensuring that all events booked eiher privately or for a Member's event run smoothly with all teams working together to produce the highest quality events for our clients.
Key Areas of Responsiblity
- Responding to all event enquiries for all private rooms via email or by phone.
- Co-Ordinating with the Members on bespoke private events, including wine tastings, masterclasses, learning to upsell where appropriate.
- Working closely with the Sommelier and Marketing team on forward planning of all member events
- Coordinating with Merchants, Chateau and winereis on events for Members.
- Assisgning action points to FOH managers for the following week and following up accordingly
- Creating function sheets for all up and coming events, after liaising with Chef and Sommeliers
- Invoicing all clients and members post event.
- Tours of the event spaces and meetings with potential new event bookings.
- Assisting the Head of Events with profit and loss analysis.
- Leading function sheet meetings where neccessary.
- Liasising with Chef on number of attendees at all events and communicating any weekly event updates to all Front of House Staff
Requirements
At least 2 years' experience in runnign events from start to finish
Keen interest in wine and wine tastings
WSET level 2/3
Previous knowledge of Jonas software (not neccessary as training will be provided)
Previous experience within hospitality, those who have worked in either a restaurant, hotel or private Members club preferable.
Be able to show understanding of how each department work closely together and how one decision will affect another's department.
Well versed on Microsoft appllications
Working Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm
Candidate must be able to start immediately
Interviews will happen with Head of Events
Salary £28K - £30K
