Cellar Hand

We are seeking an organised, responsible and motivated individual to join our busy Cellar team at 67 Pall Mall. Our team is led by our Cellar Master and Assistant Cellar Master, working to service the requests of our Members and support our Sommelier team on the floor. 

At 67 Pall Mall a Cellar hand is an important part of the Wine service, supporting the Cellar team on day-to-day operation. Ensuring all wines and other beverage products are properly stored and located. Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of service in conjunction with our sommelier team. The ideal candidate is reliable, a quick learner, with a keen interest in wine.

Members can store wines at the Club as part of their Membership, allowing them to enjoy them for a small corkage fee during their visits, in addition to our core wine list.

Job Responsibilities / Main Duties

· Stock control and Inventory management

·Deliveries/Collections

·Liaising with members about pre booked wine orders

·Reserving and storing wine for events.

·Helping the sommelier team during service

·Running wines to our restaurant to ensure a smooth service.

·Stock enquires

 

Personal Responsibilities

· A pro-active and attentive attitude

· Basic Wine knowledge

· Good command of the English language

· Strong IT skills

· Good command of MS Excel

· Basic understanding of database systems – With previous experience of stock management software a bonus
