Role: General Manager - Hotel du Vin

We have an opportunity has arisen to join our stunning Hotel du Vin in Brighton as General Manager. We’re looking for a leader, someone who will understand that running a successful business isn’t just about exceeding the brand standards, or having a super P&L. We want someone who will look after the team and by developing them, will deliver the expectation of first-class service.
In this role you’re a real organiser who loves leading and motivating your team. You will be driving the brand strategy in all elements of the business and set Hotel Du Vin apart from the competition as a preferred employer and destination to stay, eat and drink.
You will understand how to maximise revenue within the business by looking at the bigger picture, managing the detail through your department managers and team will be second nature and leading from the front to set the example is something you are no stranger to.
Our Hotel du Vin in Brighton is an elegant sanctuary nestled in the heart of Brighton's enchanting former fishing village, the Lanes. Our boutique hotel, housed in a breathtakingly restored 19th-century edifice, offers an experience steeped in unique character. Each of our 49 luxurious rooms and suites, adorned with elegant furnishings and opulent bedding, is a testament to the building's historic charm and our commitment to our guests' comfort. With a bar & bistro, extensive wine cellar, and courtyard area, there is a lot on offer for our guests. This is a popular location with a strong focus on food & beverage, we are, therefore, looking for someone with previous experience in managing a similar sized hotel and operation.
