We are looking for a new member of our front of house team.
Born in 2003 with the intent of unearthing the undiscovered wine gems of Italy, Passione Vino has evolved from a small wine importer company to a fully-fledged independent wine shop and bar, running tailor-made wine events, in-person and virtual tastings, an online shop and much more from our venues in Shoreditch & Exmouth Market, London.
We are looking for someone with a bubbly personality who can bring to the party good energy, commitment and want to actively be part of our growing company.
A HUGE passion for hospitality and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are a MUST. Basic wine knowledge (or good wine knowledge) a plus. But most importantly we are looking for someone who is thirsty to learn about wine and likes the challenge to go the extra mile.
The role:
- Live and breathe the Passione Vino values
- Have a friendly, vibrant and engaging personal style
- Guiding our guests through the Passione Vino wine experience, advising and informing - With the confidence to talk to our customers about the wine we sell
- Know how to have fun and be happy to taste wine you have never come across before
- Will play your part in making sure the store and bar look fantastic and are a neat, safe and attractive place for our customers to shop and drink in
- Can prioritise and be efficient with your time so you can spend more time with our customers finding wines they’ll love
- Wants to constantly improve your wine knowledge so you can share this with our customers (don’t worry, we will teach you everything you need to know)
- Have a positive can do attitude and are willing to muck in and be a real team player
- Running the day to day activities of the store and wine bar
- Helping drive sales
- Help organising and lead events and parties
- Able to work evening 5 days a week
