Hotel Account Manager: This leading innovative travel organisation are recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to join their growing team in central London.
Hotel Account Manager Responsibilities:
- The purpose of this role is to account manage hotels based in the UK (mainly Glasgow and Newcastle area), and administer internal systems and relationships to drive sales and hit margin targets
- Responsible for all elements of ongoing account management and developing excellent relationships
- There will be a small amount of contracting new hotels, but the role is 95% account management of existing relationships and is mainly office based in London.
- Negotiate and secure the best commercial terms with hotels
- Track and monitor competitive performance in terms of rate parity and availability parity
Hotel Account Manager Skills Required:
- A track record of account management and the ability to promote long-term, mutually beneficial relationships
- Previous experience in a similar role within a tour operator, online travel agency, hotel or travel related role
- Travel industry contacts with relevant destination and market
- Clear understanding of hotel CRS / PMS and GDS systems
Additional information:
- Paying £30-34K
- Based in the City of London
- The role is office based in London with 25% out of the office
