Vineyard Manager

Vineyards & Cellars )
Full Time
Wodetone Vineyard
Wooton Fitzpaine, Dorset,
England
About the vineyard:
Wodetone Vineyard is in a stunning position on the Jurrassic coast, with breath-taking views south-south east over the vines to the ocean beyond.
The vineyard is planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier. The total cropping area extends to 24-acres. In recent years there has been a programme of variety and clonal improvement through top-grafting, which is unique in the UK, and is testament to the care and attention the vineyard has enjoyed to date.
Yields at Wodetone are around 2 kg-vine, putting it in the top quartile of vineyards in the UK. The quality of the fruit is appreciated by the wineries that have been supplied and many of the wines made in whole or in part using Wodetone fruit have won awards and medals. (attr: Stephen Skelton MW)
