We have an opportunity for a Demand Planning Analyst to join our small and friendly Commercial Operations Team at our UK Headquarters – Thomas Hardy House in Weybridge.

About the role

This is a busy role in a fast paced environment. Reporting to our Demand Planning Manager you will be responsible for the forecasting and demand planning for a key group of clients ensuring accuracy. Our planning window ranges from the short term – 3 months to longer term planning up to 36 months. Our clients are household names and this role ensures we continue to deliver a first class customer service.  You will provide in depth analysis of key customer data to inform on opportunities and trends to influence business decisions. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Forecasting for the Americas, Global Travel Retail and Fine Wine Partners
  • Building a monthly demand review and pre SO & P data packs across the whole of the UK & Ireland and EMEA from a reporting suite, continuously improving its content
  • Extracting from customers in the UK, Ireland and EMEA (who provide us the data needed by the team), analysing this data and providing information needed by the wider team to inform decisions
  • Working with the demand control to provide opportunities or to identify threats, brand trends and customer trends and producing reports

About you

You’ll relish the opportunity to work for the UKs no.1 wine company and the opportunity this presents. You’ll be experienced in analysing and manipulating data, ideally in the food and drinks sector but that is not essential. Your data and analytical skills are the most important requirement for this role.  You’ll be confident in your approach and enjoy the part you play in the decision making process.  You won’t be afraid to challenge what we are doing and to constantly look for a better way of doing things.

Knowledge of Cognos or data cubes would be ideal but not essential.  You’ll enjoy analysing data and will have advanced excel skills and the ability to create reports. You’ll ensure accuracy in everything you do and be confident in the robustness of the work you produce.
