Assistant Innovation Manager

About the role and location

We have a new opportunity for an Assistant Innovation Manager to join our Marketing Team at our UK Head Office in Weybridge, close to the train and town centre, with free parking on site.

Your Key Accountabilities

•  Support the regional innovation process by managing the development of innovation projects. On some of these you will support brand teams and some you will work closely with the Insights and Innovation Manager to deliver.
•  Create engagement packs and sell in decks to support the launch of innovation within the region.
•  Best in class launches – we want our retailers to call us out as the best in class. You will work cross-functionally with Regional Brand teams, and Trade Marketing to lead excellent launch plans across all European launches. 
•  Monitor and review - Partner with sales and trade marketing teams to ensure review and course correct where needed for all European launches. 
•  Brand manage new brands through incubation period 
•  Proactively shares best practice and knowledge within the team and with other business functions
•  Clearly and proactively able to articulate the role of the function, becoming an ambassador for innovation within the wider business

About you

In addition, you will be able to
•  Influence senior stakeholders and create alignment with cross-functional teams
•  Demonstrate resilience combined with emotional intelligence to build collaborative and powerful relationships
•  Communicate well at all levels: share ideas and contributing
•  Take the initiative to problem solve, challenge & improve to deliver the agreed targets
•  Have a professional approach, demonstrating flexibility and ownership

•  Be innovative in ways of working and thinking 

Ideally you will have 3+ years experience in marketing with innovation and product development experience, experience in FMCG preferable, excellent project management skills and excellent planning and organisational skills.

You will have the flexibility to work out of office hours to accommodate the occasional call with our Australian colleagues and have the ability to travel to The Park site near Bristol,  if required.
