An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vineyard Manager to join Wiston Estate. The Wiston Estate is owned by the Goring family. The Vineyard and Winery, established in 2006 and 2008 respectively, is operated by Findon Park Farm Ltd which is the Estate’s farming company. The goal is to make exceptional quality sparkling wine to the highest possible standard from the Estate’s own vineyard and also to make sparkling wine with similar attention to detail and quality for contract clients.
Reporting to the Managing Director with regular communication with the Winemaker, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing 10 hectares of vineyards on the Wiston Estate to achieve the highest possible standard and quantity of grape production for sparkling wine. You will have a high attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, and a tertiary or higher qualification in viticulture would be desirable.

This role is a full-time position and ideally could be filled by May 2018.
The salary will be negotiable, depending on experience.
