Trainee Cellar Hand | West Sussex
An award-winning producer of English wine is looking for a Trainee Cellar Hand to join their Winery Team. You will be based in West Sussex and report into the Winemaker, assisting in all cellar operation tasks that are related to high quality wine production.
The job:
You will be carrying out all winery production operations, deputising for the Senior Cellar Hand when required and training junior members of staff/new starters on winemaking tasks.
Other duties will include lifting and carrying heavy loads (up to 20kg), filling out reports and work orders and also maintaining a safe & clean working environment.
The person:
This is a great opportunity for candidates who are keen to have the opportunity to get into a Cellar Hand role. You will be trained up so you do not need to have a wealth of experience behind you. Candidates that have worked in warehousing would also be suitable.
A clean and valid UK driving licence is essential.
