My client is a global drinks company that are producers, exporters and marketers of some of the finest wines and spirits in the world. With an excellent portfolio of key brands, they are going through a period of extensive expansion.
This is a newly created position in a team of 3 that will focus on Specialist Retail and Prestige On-Trade that will focus on growing significant distribution, managing existing accounts and driving new business growth across the M62 corridor. The accounts to be targeted will be Hotels, Bars, Restaurants and Nightclubs across all three major cities. You will be responsible for hitting set targets, devising and implementing a luxury portfolio strategy and overlaying brand plans in customer accounts.
In order to be considered for this exciting position you will already have connections in the On-Trade in Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool and be able to utilise these to grow the brands in the key sectors. You will preferably have a WSET qualification and be able to speak confidently about wine and spirits. A minimum of two years’ experience of face to face sales in a relevant drinks company is necessary to proceed with this role.
