Westgarth Wines was founded in 2012 and is a growing, data-led, fine wine merchant that sells some of the world’s top tier wines via e-commerce in the UK and the USA. We are a collaborative, positive and friendly team who have a real passion for what we do. 

We’re Looking For:

An enthusiastic, creative and wine-loving Marketing Assistant to join our UK team and to work closely with the Marketing Manager to help deliver our marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will have excellent wine knowledge, love writing compelling copy about wine and be passionate about learning more about digital marketing. They will also have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a marketing role. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Copywriting across email, social, blog, website and company literature

• Create and execute email marketing campaigns 

• Manage paid and organic social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & LinkedIn)

• SEO-optimising content and writing and managing Google Ad campaigns

• Create performance reports to optimise conversion

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree 

• Minimum of two years’ marketing experience

• Experience working in the wine trade

• Outstanding written and spoken English (other languages advantageous)

• Passionate about wine, with Level 3 WSET qualification or equivalent

• Well-organised with a high level of attention to detail

• Advanced IT skills (Photoshop skills advantageous)

This is a temporary 3-month fixed term contract that has the potential to turn into a permanent position.

£23,000 annually
