EDUCATION/TRAINING

• Clean driving license at C level
• Driver CPC qualification
• Valid digital tachograph card

DRIVING

• Knowledge and Experience

APART FROM DRIVING, YOUR DUTIES WOULD INCLUDE

• Planning delivery schedules and routes with transport managers
• Making sure loads are safely secured
• Following traffic reports and changing your route if necessary
• Completing delivery paperwork and log books
• Loading and unloading of company vehicles
• Good geographic knowledge of the local delivery area
• Experience of multi-drop deliveries to the general public and sites
• Experience of working in a similar environment

SKILLS

• Must have multiple drop experience Central London
• Must be fully fit as the work involves heavy lifting
• Ability to work alone and concentrate for long periods
• A polite manner with customers, when picking up or dropping offloads
• A good understanding of safety, on the road and when loading and unloading
• The ability to complete record sheets and paperwork accurately
• A reasonable level of fitness to work with loads
• To be trustworthy and reliable
