Account Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

To manage and develop business with a wide variety of On Trade outlets in the region to achieve profitable brand building objectives and achieve sales targets for all Moët Hennessy UK brands through the proactive and innovative management of allocated resources.


  • To develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve brand plans.
  • To develop and activate the distribution of Moët Hennessy brands
  • To support wholesalers and their customers in the field
  • To develop and implement customer focused business plans 
  • To manage, implement and evaluate promotional activity in target outlets.
  • To identify outlets to ensure maximum visibility of portfolio.
  • To activate brand plans through effective implementation of customer activity frequency of call contact. 
  • To identify opportunities and recommend action for new brand initiatives.
  • To manage and control personal and brand related budgets and resources. 
  • To be the ‘go to' partner in all accounts.
  • To update and maintain the customer database.
  • To fully adopt Moet Hennessy ways of working and systems
  • To use sales reporting systems to plan, monitor, report and analyse the business. 
  • To gather and use comprehensive competitor information.
  • To deliver training and education where required.

  • Degree level education 
  • WSET qualifications (L2+ preferred)
  • Full and clean driving licence


  • English

Professional experience & know how

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within the Wines and Spirits industry
  • Good overall Wines & Spirits Knowledge
  • On-Trade sector knowledge
  • Knowledge of the South East & Mid-South regions

Technical & management skills

  • Good negotiation skills
  • IT skills generally but including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
