About the role and location
We have an opportunity for a Shopper Marketing Executive to join our Marketing Team at our UK Head Office in Weybridge, close to the train and town centre, with free parking on site. You will have the chance to learn about the wine industry within the UK’s Number 1 Wine Company, where you can gain WSET qualifications and develop your career. The Shopper Marketing Executive is part of the Shopper Marketing team who are in business to drive growth for our priority brands and customers through market leading shopper understanding, channel planning, activation and mutually beneficial relationships. They will be the voice of the wine shopper and develop solutions to persuade them to buy, try, and love our brands.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be required to support them in development and implementation of the shopper marketing plans for their specific accounts, provide administrative support to the Shopper Marketing team and work with customers and the brand teams on identified projects and requests.

About the role – Key Accountabilities
Team objectives: deliver programme of integrated shopper marketing programmes for each financial year within agreed budgets to achieve key brand and customer metrics.
Individual accountabilities:
- Provide team administrative support across all channels with shopper and trade advertising, agency management, budget coordination, promotional tracking and reporting and preparation for customer meetings.
- Fulfil requests for information and activity from the sales and brand teams
- Limited customer responsibilities as determined by Senior Shopper Marketing Manager
- Build strong relationships on a day-to-day basis and be proactive at managing the needs and expectations of immediate internal and external customers
About you
You will have commercial acumen, having a clear understanding of the impact of actions on revenue and profit, be competent in Microsoft Office and JD Edwards (desirable) plus appreciation of digital and social media and you will be able to work as part of a team to achieve shared team and company goals. You will also need insight and analysis skills to be able to collect and shape insight into customer centred selling stories.
You will have at least 1 years’ experience in a marketing or sales role in an FMCG environment and a Bachelors Degree
You will have the flexibility to work out of office hours to accommodate the occasional call with our Australian colleagues and have the ability to travel to our Accolade Park site near Bristol, if required.
