DESCRIPTION

BHX5 is a new fulfillment centre in Rugby specialising in Beers, Wines and Spirits.

The Lead is responsible for executing and providing support for standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to a particular product group. The overarching charge for this position is to ensure that the Fulfilment Centre provides a high quality product to meet customer demand The Lead will apply practices around process controls receiving, stowing, picking and removal methods to maintain good quality standards and will guide area associates in applying these practices.

Job Responsibilities
· Execute receive SOPS applying quality control standards and processes.
· Adhere to strict safety and quality standards
· Conduct regular inventory quality control checks applying quality standards
· Provide assistance to Associates to problem solve and resolve escalations resulting from regular inventory quality control checks
· Accurately rate product quality applying strict standards and guides
· Assist in keeping work area clean and organized
· Execute clean working environment, standards and processes
· Execute inventory adjustment processes
· Perform needed cycle counts and/or relocate product virtually and physically
· Provide inventory adjustment details to corporate based on qualifying thresholds
· Analyse and determine root cause of all inventory adjustments
· Ensure successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of Associate performance
· Train and coach Associates, verifying SOP compliance through conducting standard work checks
· Help support daily management of department duties, including allocating labour, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external partners
· Provide feedback to process owners with root cause analysis
· Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
· Review and update SOP documentation for area as required

Skill Requirements:
· Maintain a complete and thorough understanding of inventory and quality control and systems in a Fulfilment Centre environment
· Demonstrate a full understanding of workflow and daily production goals
· Strong oral and written communication skills, able to communicate with managers and associates at all levels
· Possess excellent attention to detail and ability to work with the highest level of accuracy
· Must be able to work independently, and with many teams within the building
· Must possess strong problem solving skills and analytical skills
· Must demonstrate a sense of urgency
· Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively
· Must be able to demonstrate integrity and confidentiality
· Must be able to comprehend a lot of information in a short period of time

Basic Qualifications:

· Must have GCSE’s or equivalent
· Direct management experience for employees in a retail, distribution, or logistics environment
· Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and or evenings.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· A completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in engineering, operations, or related field.
· Management of a minimum of 30 employees
· Interest in long term career development through assignments in multiple fulfillment centers across the nation
· Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to problem solve and prioritize with little guidance
· Demonstrated excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of associates and management
· Demonstrated ability to use computer and wireless technology
