Aim of role:
To be a member of the fantastic Hensol Castle Distillery developing, growing and managing sales .
Main duties and job objectives:
- Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, planning and execution with customers through direct account management and our distributors.
- Assume commercial responsibility for all customers in their territory and will be focused on developing current accounts & winning new business on behalf of HCD to grow profitable sales volume.
- Identify & actively exploit new business opportunities in terms of, new customers, new listings and new routes to market.
- Work with distributors to develop & implement market strategies & business plans to deliver regional goals.

- Ability to deliver substantial growth through new business gains.

- UK sales performance versus budget (Outlets stocking, sales, volume and margin)

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Business (ideally)
- WSET or similar wine education (ideally).
English Speaking, but helpful to be have an understanding of Welsh
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in FMCG preferably in the wine / drinks industry or 2/3 years On Trade. Ideally to have a proven track record in sales and distributor management.
- Local market knowledge including retail & on-trade would be advantageous.
