Based in the vibrant start-up hub of Old Street, London, JF Tobias are a wine merchant with big ambitions to re-think how fine wine consumers are served. Having seen more than 100% growth in the past year, we are searching for an ambitious Logistics Intern to coordinate our key activities.

Job Duties:

  • Handling national & international shipments

  • Resolving and coordinating deliveries, collections, and imports & exports

  • Liaising with various other logistical firms, warehouses, customers and merchants

  • Maintaining customer and stakeholder relations through transparent communication

  • Managing stock traveling through the supply chain and stock inventory

  • Submitting and reviewing the condition of stock

  • Responding to queries, resolving issues and managing the fluidity of the system

 

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (including English & Maths (A - C)

  • A-Levels (or equivalent)

  • Degree

  • WSET (desirable, but not essential)

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with customer-facing role

  • Able to coordinate people, products and services

  • Previous experience/knowledge of CRMs

  • Strong communication skills (literary and verbal)

  • Telephone skills, internally and externally of JFT

  • Technologically (IT) competent

  • Sharp eye for detail

  • Time management & organisational skills are essential

Experience:

  • Logistics experience (desirable)

  • Wine industry experience (desirable)

  • Right to work in the UK

 

Salary: Competitive + Dependent on experience
