We are seeking to recruit now 2 x full time ( Five full 6/7 hour shifts per week ) Bar and Waiting professionals. Start date will be when the first day that the Government lockdown is lifted. These are full time professional jobs for experienced people in the pub/inn/restaurant/hotel industry who can commute to us in daytimes and evenings with your own transport.

The Oxenham Arms Hotel is a 4 Star Gold Hotel and AA Rosette restaurant, a tourist attraction and Grade II Star listed former monastery, in the heart of South Zeal one of Devons most beautiful villages just off the A30 25 mins drive from Exeter.

You will need to have previous and recent practical experience of serving drinks, wines, spirits, ales, ciders and table service of lunch and evening restaurant or gastro/pub food. You will need a knowledge of wines, management of a bar, table planning, table presentation, knowledge of foods, how to professionally carry plates and cutlery, taking orders, management of bar stock and a great personality to match. Confident in what you do, you should be experienced enough to run and manage a bar and table service on your own after a small amount of training on our systems and electronic till and kitchen ordering system.

Shifts will be a mix of 11AM to 5M or 5.30PM to 11PM and include one weekend shift. Good Salary or hourly paid, Pension, 28 days holiday.
