Off The Line vineyard and winery, based in East Sussex, producing award winning still rosé wines is looking for a motivated and hard working individual to work in a sales role. Occassionally, assistance with tours and tastings, events, and trade tastings will be required. Full training about the wines will be given.
Job Description
- key role in growing wine sales with existing and new customers working closely with the owners (1-2 days per week as agreed with some home working possible)
- approaching trade buyers as instructed
- arranging and attending meetings and tastings with trade customers
- following up all leads by e-mail or telephone
- assisting with deliveries as reasonably required
- being a brand ambassdor for Off The Line
- assisting with tours and tastings at Off The Line
- assisting at trade tastings and events
Essential requirements
- Full drivers' liceense and own transport
- Experience of selling wine
- Knowledge of English wine sector
- 'Can do' positive attitude
- Confidence in dealing with trade buyers
- Good written communication skills
Additional Preferred Requirements
- WSET to Advanced Level
- Track record of growing business
Remuneration is negotiable depending on experience plus commission on sales at rate negotiable
