This is a Temporary Maternity Cover role for up to 12 months, starting ASAP.
Job Overview
The role is within the internationally recognised Beer and Beverage Analysis Department. The department provides analytical and technical services to support the brewing and beverages sector. The focus for the department includes alcoholic beverages such as beer, cider, wine and spirits but they also work with raw materials, as well as soft drinks.
The role is in the wine and spirits section of the department, where you would be analysing wine and spirits as well as working with the LIMS system. You would also be calibrating, maintaining and monitoring laboratory equipment. There will be the opportunity to learn new analytical techniques.
Requirements
A degree in a science subject and/or relevant experience is required. An interest in wine will be of benefit. You will need to be able to use Word, Excel and Power Point.
