Requirements:

Ideally, the successful candidate will have a qualification in viticulture ranging from diploma to degree level and/or have 4 years + vineyard experience, along with PA1 / PA2 and PA3 pesticide spraying certificates. The successful applicant should be a highly motivated and organised individual with a “can do” attitude who is comfortable either working alone or supervising teams.

Responsibilities

Assessing site suitability for vine growing

Managing several small and medium-sized vineyards

Managing, motivating and training others

Spraying

Tractor driving

Vineyard monitoring

Stock checks

Ordering of plant protection products

Record keeping

£32 000 - £35 000 (dependent on experience).
38 days paid holiday per annum
