Seasonal Vineyard/winery work- 4 to 6 weeks from mid-September.
Nutbourne is a long-established family-owned boutique wine producer situated near Pulborough in West Sussex, producing a range of still and sparkling wines. We have 8 hectares of vines in production including both classic champagne and an interesting range of Germanic Riesling style varietals. The Vineyards, Winery and cellar door are all on site. We are recruiting an enthusiastic, hardworking team of assistants for the coming harvest to help with all aspects of vineyard and winery work- September to October 2022. We need people with enthusiasm and passion to make great wines. England is a challenging climate in which to grow grapes, but we have consistently proved it is possible to achieve outstanding results. The job requires very hands-on involvement in all aspects of the winery, vineyard, and harvest.
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting broad vineyard experience with both responsibility and expert guidance. Some experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Salary will depend on experience but will be around £12 per hour- £500 per week. We cannot offer accommodation but would assist with finding somewhere local if a successful applicant needs it
