Sommelier - Beaverbrook Town House (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

We are looking for a highly motivated professional to join our team at Beaverbrook Town House. There has never been a more exciting time to join the Town House situated in Chelsea, London as the hospitality industry thrives again.
You will help to deliver our exclusive wine offering to our Members and Guests. You will drive the wine sales through personally sharing your knowledge and passion with our Members and Guests, whilst demonstrating consistent and excellent standards of service. By nurturing passion, appreciation and knowledge for Beaverbrook Town House you will work with our Restaurant General Manager and their teams to run and deliver only the very best service.

As a member of a small Food & Beverage team, a hands-on approach is essential and the flexibility to work in other areas of the department; the restaurant, bar, pantry and private dining space, is required.

You will have:
• Experience of working in a luxury establishment
• An outstanding knowledge across all markets and a real passion for wine
• WSET Level 3 or above
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
• The drive to be proactive and lead by financial targets and standards of excellence
• Bags of energy, a passion for life and the desire to be the best
• The ability to demonstrate stock control & management with attention to detail
• The desire to inspire, educate and mentor the Food & Beverage team and colleagues within the world of wines
• Experience of implementing, co-ordinating and hosting events, would be desirable
• The self-motivation to increase your own knowledge to further your career progression
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
