  • Pernod Ricard UK, which markets, sells and distributes our products in the UK market
  • Chivas Brothers, the largest brand company in the Group, responsible for the production and management of our award-winning Scotch whisky portfolio
  • Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, the global and EMEA home of the group’s duty free, air travel and cruises business.

We are an organisation of 2,000 employees in the UK, headquartered in London, in a brand-new office designed with sustainability, ‘conviviality’ and collaboration in mind. We also have offices in Scotland and various distilleries and production sites across the UK from Plymouth to London to Speyside.

Your new team

This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.

You will join the Global Single Malt Marketing team which is responsible for developing globally the strategy and content for our leading portfolio of Single Malt brands (The Glenlivet & Aberlour).

Your unique contribution

The scope of the role is focussed on Aberlour

You will have 5 main areas of responsibility:

1. Brand Strategy

- Work with your manager to define a clear global brand strategy and approach to priority markets

- Work with your manager to define the ideal product portfolio and positioning to win in key markets

- Work with Head of Communication to define a content strategy for key markets as per the market needs and job to be done

2. Product Development

- Be the owner of the product range

- Lead the development of new packaging where and if needed

- Lead the identification and development of New Products/Innovations to meet the brand’s growth ambitions across markets

3. Content Creation  

- Lead the development of global campaign and relevant global assets

- Work closely with key markets to develop adaptations for key markets and align their media investments behind the content

- Owner of Digital strategy and content calendar to support regular conversation on the brand on owned platforms

4. Sustainability & Responsibility

- S&R will be at the heart of the brand Purpose

- Lead the definition of the S&R milestones and KPIs and track performance against them

- Engage key stakeholders across functions to drive agenda behind Aberlour S&R commitments

5. Collaboration

- Serve as a cross-functional Project Manager with other departments within the company and with agency partners, make recommendations that align with goals and budget. Continuously seek to add value and demonstrate quality at every engagement/touch point.  Seek out new collaborative opportunities  both internally & with external entities.

Internally,  you’ll work with key markets (France, China, Taiwan, USA & Travel Retail), Product development team, Insight team, finance team & S&R team

Externally, your contacts will be experiential agencies and creative specialists.
