Overview of role
Berkmann Wine Cellars is the largest family-owned and family run wine importer in the UK. Due to continued success we are seeking to appoint a Sales Operations Manager (On Trade) to manage and lead a sales support function which helps to drive sales force efficiency and productivity across the business. 

Working collaboratively with the Senior Sales Directors the Sales Operations Manager (On Trade) will be responsible for the development, testing and roll-out of sales productivity tools to the sales teams, in addition to ensuring the sales teams members are educated on the tools needed to do their job.

Whether you are creating and managing the roll-out of sales performance analysis and reporting dashboards, working with the On Trade Sales Director to deliver targeted sales activities, optimising lead generation, pipeline management and performance tracking to increase efficiency, providing vital support during the tender process for regional and national accounts or managing the team that provides a range of administrative support to the field sales teams, it will be your professional and organised approach that will ensure our clients strategic  expansion plans are delivered.

Person Specification

  • Considerable experience working in a similar Sales Operations role
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics (Navision) is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of delivering sales projects to a consistently high standard and on forecast
  • Proven ability to monitor and review forecasts
  • Management experience, including performance reviews and KPI setting
  • Ability to understand, interpret and enforce business processes
  • Ability to influence and motivate a team in order to achieve directives set by the business

Working Pattern - This role is 37.5 hours per week (9am – 5.30pm), Monday to Friday. It is expected that the successful candidate will work the hours necessary to fulfil the requirements of the job.
