Enotria&Coe is the UK’s leading premium wine and spirits distributor, with sales of over 30m bottles per annum to a huge range of customers across the country and internationally.  The company in its current state was formed in Feb 2016 when Enotria (a premium wine distributor) purchased and merged with Coe Vintners (a premium spirits wholesaler).   

E&C sells wines and spirits to independent on-trade customers (restaurants, gastro pubs, bars, etc), major pub and restaurant chains and all the major supermarkets and wine shops. 

The key to our success is creating strong partnerships and applying our insight and expertise to meet a variety of customer needs. As we expand we have an opportunity for a passionate, experienced and dynamic person to join our Sales Operations team.

The key duties of the role are:

  • work collaboratively with the sales teams to drive strategic business planning and growth initiatives through the design of sales processes and leveraging sales productivity tools
  • assist with sales analysis, uploading customer pricing and investigation and resolution of pricing queries
  • manage the set up procedure for new customers, liaising with other departments to ensure a smooth on-boarding process and a great first experience for the customer
  • support in driving the development, testing and roll out of sales productivity tools to the sales teams, working closely with the teams to identify opportunities to improve productivity and time in front of trade
  • Support the management and resolution of sales and customer related issues – working closely with the sales team to identify issues and rectify them by working cross functionally with other departments
  • Assist with lead generation, pipeline management and support the new business function
  • Provide a range of administrative support to the sales teams to help in the achievement of sales objectives

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Good education - minimum GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience in a customer services or sales role
  • Account support experience
  • Strong communication / interpersonal skills
  • Excellent numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced user level on MS Office programmes
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver reports that inform strategic decisions
  • Ability to prioritise, plan and organise
  • Energetic individual with a passion for sales and operational development
  • Ability to find and execute creative solutions to a wide variety of strategic issues
