Sales Manager London On-Trade
Role
We are seeking a self-motivated, dynamic professional with a relentless work ethic, able to demonstrate relevant experience, excellent organization, communication, people and negotiation skills as well as a strong commercial acumen. You will be of degree calibre and ideally possess the advanced / level 3 WSET certificate or equivalent, with proven experience of both developing existing business and opening new accounts and build on the current success of Sustainable Wine Solutions within the London on-trade across our three key formats of Return Bottle Scheme, Wine on Tap and Vino Tap
Responsibilities
● Build strong relationships with customers, understanding them and their consumers by
identifying gaps for our wines that add value to their business.:
● Continuously create new leads and potential customers
● Lead monthly group tastings and convert leads to loyal customers
● Manage your existing clients and help them grow within Sustainable Wine Solutions family
● Through networking be an enthusiastic ambassador of Sustainable Wine Solutions
Requirements
● An exceptional knowledge of the London trade - Wine Shops, Bars, Restaurants, Hotels, Indie
Specialists.
● An understanding of Wine On Tap and Bottle Return as a concept
● A sustainability enthusiast
● WSET advanced level qualified.
● Excellent interpersonal skills.
● Ability to communicate with confidence both internally and externally.
● Genuine passion for wine and a knowledge of food and wine pairing.
● Passion for sustainability, our products and goals.
● Ability to complete a detailed price proposal and write a balanced wine list.
● Analytical and numerate with good attention to detail.
● Computer literate – excel particularly.
● Self-motivation and good organisational skills are essential.
● Drive and ambition and the ability to use these attributes to win new business.
