Borough Wines are currently recruiting experienced retail staff for manager and assistant manager vacancies in our London shops.
We are looking for staff with big personalities and a love of great drinks. A minimum of WSET level 2 or equivalent wine knowledge and education is essential. Craft beer and spirits experience is desirable too.
We love to work with staff who have spirit, initiative and passion. We believe in sustainability, great customer service and an approachable attitude to sales. Being in control of the basics is essential, so you must be computer literate, social media savvy, sales driven and be able to successfully manage stock and cash. Experience of managing people would also be a distinct advantage.
Each of our eight retail sites across London is different, their unique characters are influenced by the local area and the staff. So you'll also have an opportunity to put your stamp on the shop. Your biggest influence will be through your amazing customer service.
Borough Wines imports wines from some wonderful producers around the world. We have a great range of natural, organic and biodynamic wines, we source beer from smaller independent breweries and a wide selection of craft spirits.
Full time working hours are 45 per week over five days and include weekends and evenings.We offer fantastic staff discounts, ongoing development and competitive salaries. Managers are also eligible for performance based bonus'.
