Job Description
This is a new role for the business. You will be responsible for developing, growing and maintaining a profitable book of private and corporate clients from the ground up. This will involve capitalising on existing client lists and the regular lead generation provided by the stores and website as well as proactively seeking new business, creating offers and running pre-arrival and en primeur campaigns
Duties and responsibilities
Liaising with the web and retail teams to identify and develop high potential clients
Working hand in hand with the purchasing team to create, distribute and manage offers such as new release, pre-arrival and en primeur
Actively selling a wide range of wines and spirits from a variety of suppliers but with a key focus on promoting our fantastic direct import exclusive agencies.
Proactively seeking out and generating corporate business
Participating in and hosting consumer facing tastings and events
Requirements and Qualifications
We are seeking a self-motivated, dynamic professional with a great work ethic, excellent organisational, fluent English verbal and written communication skills as well as an eye for opportunity and an ability to work to tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate will be of degree calibre and possess the advanced / level 3 WSET certificate or equivalent. A wine industry background is essential with 3 years in private client sales desirable, including managing en primeur and similar offers.
You will have a passion for wine and the drive to offer great customer service.
The role is London-based, and there may be the occasional requirement to participate in evening and weekend events.
