On-Trade Sales (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Due to our strategic expansion, we are looking for to further on-trade sales opportunities within the M25

Experience

• A wine enthusiast with strong commercial acumen

• 3 - 5 years London on-trade wine sales experience including selling to prestige
  bars, restaurants, independent outlets and luxury hotels

• A proven sales track record to date – supported by achievements vs
  targets/objectives and a demonstrated customer base in the London restaurant market

• WSET qualified - minimum level 2, ideally Level 3 or above

Role and required skills

• To lead the onTrade presence of Wanderlust’s portfolio maintaining relationships with wine buyers and Sommeliers already established

• Prospecting of new potential clients from previous contact base & from a fresh, standing start

• Design and execute a clear sales strategy for Wanderlust’s growth including timeline (30/60/90 day plan)

• Provide regular formal reporting on activity, sales pipeline, successes,
  opportunities, marketing and business developments

• Self-driven, results-orientated, with a positive outlook

• Passionate, enthusiastic and personable

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

• Numerate with good IT skills and writing skills

• An outstanding relationship builder and networker

• Planning & executing marketing trade events

• The opportunity to step up to Director level and lead sales across sales channels including mentoring & training junior staff as the business grows

• Creating and delivering tasting events, customer education seminars where needed

• The ability to talk to consumers as well as Sommeliers/Wine Buyers

• Responsible for ensuring stock replenishment keeps pace with sales and orders
