National Account Manager On-Trade (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Are you an ambitious individual with a real passion for wine, strong work ethic and a drive to succeed? We are looking for a National Account Manager to join our National On-Trade team.

The role involves:  

  • Managing several key national on-trade accounts to achieve annual budgets and sales growth
  • Actively pursuing new business, including leading and winning new business tenders
  • Planning and implementing sales strategies/joint business plans
  • Responsibility for pricing strategies, budgets and margins
  • Liaising directly with the Liberty Wines buying team and producers to negotiate pricing, manage own-label and NPD
  • Working with Liberty Wines’ operation teams to help manage customer accounts: customer services, shipping, brand planning
  • Leveraging relationships across all levels to achieve the best results 

Skills and experience:  

  • Experience ideally within the UK National on-trade or other relevant sales role
  • Experience of working on new business pitches
  • Knowledge of the UK national on-trade market
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Responsive, efficient and a team player
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Numerate and commercially aware
  • A good level of wine knowledge, with WSET qualifications an advantage
