Position: Logistics Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting new venture and manage the entire logistics system of the company, including imports to the UK, warehousing, and deliveries to private and business customers ordering online.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate deliveries from local UK suppliers;

• Organise shipments from European countries to UK bonded warehouse;

• Manage deliveries of online orders to private customers (through delivery companies);

• Organise shipments to business customers;

• Control and maintain high quality standards of parcels’ packing;

• Coordinate with third party warehouses located in UK and Europe;

• Constantly search and develop new logistics solutions for fine wine online business;

• Maintain and develop good relationship with third parties for example warehouses, delivery and transporting companies, etc.

Requirements for the Candidate:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics for an online shop;

• Experience in alcohol industry businesses will be considered as an advantage;

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education;

• Experience in working with Navision, Axapta or other ERPs’;

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills;

• Ability to plan and distribute work load;

• Ability to compile clear, concise reports and forecasts to management;

• Thoroughness and a high level of motivation.

Employment type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 gross per year
