We are looking for an inspiring and experienced sales person to head up our London On Trade sales team. The last 12 months have brought many challenges for the hospitality industry, as well as illuminating how adaptable and innovative our industry can be. A bit about you…
We are looking for a creative, autonomous Head of Sales who is energetic and positive in their approach to work, guiding a strong team of sales people. We need someone who is prepared to roll up their sleeves as we enter this new age of hospitality. We’re looking for an obsessive foodie, an ardent wine lover, who is confident in their own ability and doesn’t shy away from a challenge. You will be a target-focussed, motivational leader, who can coordinate the team’s activities.
Skills Required:
Experienced: Minimum of 5 years on trade sales
Team leader: Someone who can get the best out of the team whilst being an active salesperson
Open Minded: You must be a good listener and empathetic to the needs of others
Influencer: Excellent communication skills, being able to influence all levels of stakeholders.
Self-Starter: Someone who motivates themselves by settling achievable goals and is well organised.
Engaging: You must be able to engage with customers and build strong relationships.
Profit driven: a real numbers person with strong financial acumen. This includes being proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel).
Resilient and Competitive.
What you'll get in return:
The role is home based, with expectations to be in our London office for a number of days a week (when we are allowed). You will be reporting to the Sales Director.
You will get the opportunity to put in practice and develop further your sales and management skills, to influence the company’s strategy and to be part of the senior management team. The opportunity to create own strategy and direction for the team in order to deliver results.
You will be working closely with other departments – marketing / buying / finance / customer services to maximise the growth in sales and margin.
