European Supply Chain Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

The role of the European Supply Chain Manager is to ensure:  1) the efficient flow of wines and spirits from our suppliers and customers into our European warehouses in London and Bordeaux and 2) the accurate export of products to international destinations.  

Stock control:

  • Managing and monitoring the day to day activities in our European warehouse, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Cru protocols.
  • Monitoring stock received to insure proper settlement via photo requests, SIB passport and reports.

Supply chain management:

  • Assisting the Buying team to ensure on-time delivery of stock.
  • Evaluating the quality of our suppliers.
  • Organizing and monitoring all stock flow from our suppliers to European warehouses.
  • Organizing all stock transfer movements within European warehouses and between Europe and Asia, organizing airfreights and sea freight from Europe to Asia or customer deliveries overseas.

Settlement:

  • Coordinating with the Buying team to resolve stock issues. 
  • Implementing standardized settlement processes in Cru’s European warehouses to check stock.
  • Developing a common framework to harmonize the Cru “Guaranteed” status and promoting the concept with Cru’s stakeholders.
  • Negotiating with Liv-Ex when API trades have issues and liaising with the sales team or directly with the client to resolve. 
  • Developing a solution for Cru customers to bring in wines into the Cru ecosystem, checking them and listing them on the Cru market place.

Operations excellence:

  • Designing, developing and implementing new processes or IT improvements to automate our supply chain in order to make Cru’s supply chain more reliable and efficient.
  • Growing our network of warehouses around Europe in order to create a global Cru market-place where wines can be bought, stored exchanged and delivered.

 

Package:

- Based in Cru’s London offices in SW1.
- Salary is £32,500 pa rising to £34,000 pa after completion of 3 month probation period.

- Reporting to Chief Operating Officer.
