Elicite is an exciting new project aiming to demystify fine wine and champagne through an interactive, media based e-commerce venture.

Stemming from more than 50 years’ combined knowledge, their vision is to become the go-to platform for all ages to guide and navigate you through the world of fine wine and champagne. They will provide fully accessible education to the masses through the use of videos, social media, podcasts, infographic articles and much more.

Position: E-Commerce and Marketing Director

The Director of E-Commerce and Marketing is responsible for driving customer traffic and ensuring an outstanding customer experience on all platforms. Accountable for developing, implementing, forecasting and measuring all e-commerce and digital marketing strategies. Success is measured by delivering best-in-class Omni-channel experience, increasing traffic, conversion rate and revenue per visit.


·       Analysing traffic to make strategic marketing decisions

·       Using business-oriented social marketing tools to drive word of mouth and registrations

·       Managing social media including Instagram, YouTube and others

·       Implementing strategies for increasing our website traffic & sales

·       Manage budget in key areas including content creation and design, e-commerce, work order testing, online tracking and analysis, new site concept development, and search engine marketing

·       Ability to communicate complex or digital/social concepts to non-technical audience

·       Collaborate effectively with colleagues from a range of disciplines

·       Research/analysis skills including online listening, e-commerce auditing, trend analyses and UX design

·       Can jump from creative side of marketing to analytical side

·       Develop content strategy aligned with marketing targets

·       Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)

Required Skills:

·       Bachelors in Marketing, Advertising or Communications from one of the Russell Group of universities, or relevant, equivalent experience

·       5+ years experience in either e-commerce strategy or digital marketing strategy

·       Self-starter with excellent project management skills, ability to multi-task and move projects to completion

·       Knowledge of integrated digital & offline marketing disciplines including SEO, SEM, Direct Response, Viral, etc.

·       Background in most online technologies (HTML, Java, Flash, JQuery, etc.)

·       Creative, diplomatic, cool under pressure and strong interpersonal skills

·       Experience with Google Analytics

·       Experience with Data Management Platforms (DMP) and CMS platforms

·       Previous work in luxury sector

·       Be ready for start-up approach

·       With time, the role would evolve into a full time E-commerce Director and an additional Marketing Director will be employed

·       Excellent English
